"This Is My Town"

The first family of the First Baptist Church holds an abundance of secrets. Pastor Ruford Royale (Fitz Houston), religious and civic leader, and his beautiful and elegant wife, Adele Royale (Efe’), seek to protect the children of the town against a secret developer who plans to build a casino. Their youngest son, J.B. Royale (Jonathan Mosley-Perry), a highly successful attorney, holds multiple marital secrets. But oldest son, Crowne Royale (Sid Burston), makes no secret of the fact that despite his upper middle class upbringing, his life’s ambition is to be a gangster. Yet, his brutality remains tempered by the remnants of faith that on occasion leave him in anguish as he seeks to navigate the growth of his organization in a world compromised by intrigue, duplicity, and self-serving judgment. Even his mentee, David (Robert McGillivray) hides a secret of such severity that to expose it will lead to his own death or the death of his mentor, Crowne. And Vidal (Bill Porter), his worst enemy, and Vidal’s father, Pia (Mike Zehr), are seeking to learn every one of these secrets.
